Add a little spooky flair to your desk or nightstand with this Ghost Cat lamp. With it's bright yet warm white light, it easily complements other decor. The body is made of white resin which gives it a silky smooth finish. Each piece is UV cured, sanded, and assembled by hand. The built-in LED light module has a push button switch to turn on/off and it receives power through a USB-A plug.

We bring ghost cat to life with a resin printer. Each cat is built from the bottom up in thin layers. Each layer is UV flash cured during the printing process. Once the main print is completed, we put on our PPE because working with resin has risks and safety is the most important (!!) and begin the cleaning process. The ghost cat is carefully removed from the resin printer and then cleaned in a thorough multi-step process. Building supports are removed using plier tools. After cleaning, we wait for the ghost cats to air-dry before placing them in a UV cure station to become fully cured.

 

Post-processing involves sanding the rough edges for a smooooth finish, attaching LED light modules, and gluing on the bases. The bases are 3D printed separately in white PLA and we designed them to perfectly encase the LED light and make the ghost cat look like it's floating.

Important Details

The resin and cleaning materials we use have a distinctive smell: a bit like gel nail polish, acetone, or alcohol. We try to minimize any lingering smells by airing out the products before shipping. Material-related smells might be the most noticeable right after unboxing because it was in a closed package during shipment. Any smells should disappear after airing out for a couple of days. Please reach out if you have any questions or concerns.

 

Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or high temperatures because it can damage the material.

 

3D printed products have a unique look and feel. You may notice fine layer textures, which are a signature trait of the additive process.

 

There may be slight differences between units, as they are all finished by hand. Please rest assured; we review and examine each piece to ensure only high quality products make it through, both after assembly and again before packing.
